Julien Delange, Founder and CEO
Julien is the CEO of Codiga. Before starting Codiga, Julien was a software engineer at Twitter and Amazon Web Services.
Julien has a PhD in computer science from Universite Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France.
When I started Codiga, I wanted to challenge the status quo and build a tool to help engineers write better code. We started by automating code reviews and later released our custom static analyzer, Rosie. Today, Rosie is the only tool that can detect and fix coding errors in real-time across the development lifecycle. Every day, Rosie helps thousands of developers find and fix coding errors, whether while writing code, before pushing code, or once a pull request is sent.
Joining Datadog is an amazing opportunity for us to combine the work we’ve done at Codiga with the runtime observability Datadog provides to build something very useful for all developers.
I want to thank all Codiga customers and investors for their support throughout this journey. I am very grateful for the help and support the team received through the years. Your help has been invaluable in building this company.
What does this mean for the Codiga Community?
On May 4th, all Codiga products (including the IDE plugin, command-line tool, and Git integration) will shut down. If you have a paid subscription with us, any remaining balance on your subscription will automatically be refunded at that time. If you have any questions about this announcement, please email codiga_support@datadoghq.com.
Moving forward
Joining Datadog is not the end of our mission: it’s a new beginning. We are excited to continue our work and provide value to all Datadog customers. We will reach out to all current customers with more details. If you want to be an early customer of our new product at Datadog, please email codiga_support@datadoghq.com.
